Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Community, Celebration & Giving
Each December, our organization brings the Hermosa Beach community together to celebrate the holiday season while creating meaningful impact. Our signature event—the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive—invites residents, supporters, and visitors to embrace the festive spirit, enjoy our local establishments, and contribute toys for children in need.
By blending celebration with generosity, we turn joyful moments into lasting goodwill for the families we serve.

Our Mission
The 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to strengthening community connections and giving back through festive, purpose-driven events. What began as a small pub crawl among friends has grown into a cherished annual tradition that brings people together and provides meaningful support to hundreds of families each holiday season.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy, community, and compassion are most powerful when shared. By combining celebration with charitable action, we help foster a more connected Hermosa Beach while directly supporting families in need through our annual toy drive, hosted in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department.
🎅 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl
Join us as we jingle our way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue for a festive night of community, celebration, and giving!
📅 Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
💲 Cost: Free to participate — simply bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
👗 What to Wear: Ugly holiday sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies — the more festive, the better!
🎁 Where Donations Go: All toys collected support the Hermosa Beach Police Department’s Annual Toy Drive, bringing holiday joy to local families in need.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
